Thanks to HKU Library’s (@hkulibrary ) generous transfer, we have added 12 sets (111 pieces! 🤩) of Chinese folk papercut to our collection. With a wide range of subjects from Beijing opera masks 🎭 to 𝘙𝘰𝘮𝘢𝘯𝘤𝘦 𝘰𝘧 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘛𝘩𝘳𝘦𝘦 𝘒𝘪𝘯𝘨𝘥𝘰𝘮𝘴 ⚔️, these papercuts form a brightly coloured diorama of Chinese folk culture. Stick with us for more sneak peeks of our papercuts and latest accessions! 😉
